Richard A. Sporn has been Of Counsel to Gerald & Lawrence Blumberg, LLP since 1979. Richard works with our clients on complex income and estate tax planning and represents them in tax audits and other tax proceedings.
Richard graduated magna cum laude in 1975 from the University of Southern California, where he was also elected to Phi Beta Kappa. He received his JD degree from Temple University in 1978 and an LLM in Taxation from New York University School of Law in 1979.
Richard has served on the boards of charitable organizations, including most recently an eight year term as a director of Corporate Angel Network, the charitable organization which arranges free air transportation for cancer patients traveling to treatment using the empty seats on corporate jets. Richard is also an instrument-rated aircraft pilot.
